The New Church Hall Extension

The Church has had the facility of a hall with kitchen and toilets since 1955.  However, the kitchen and toilet facilities were in need of enhancement.  In 2007 plans were set in motion to raise money and commission an extension to the hall.

A proposal was submitted for planning permission but turned down due to being deemed not in keeping with the rest of the structure.  You can download a schematic of this proposal below.  A second submission was made and accepted.

In June 2008 the work was completed after a great deal of effort by church members to add the finishing touches.  The church now has (in addition to the hall), a foyer, male toilets, female toilets, disabled toilet and full access for the less able.
